Laurie Ashley owns and operates L. Ashley Strategy Inc., a traditional and digital marketing + business development consultancy. Laurie specializes in relationship and B2B marketing and sales with a focus on business networking both on and off the screen. Laurie works to help businesses understand who their clients are, where they are, how to reach them, and when they do how to communicate with them in a way that connects.
Laurie has over 15 years experience in marketing and communication roles and a history of success in strategic marketing planning, creative development, and implementation of initiatives that drive sales and revenue growth. Before founding L.Ashley Strategy Inc., Laurie was in marketing roles for both an international engineering service provider and an international capital equipment company. As a marketing leader she was charged with high six figure annual budgets for marketing and sales promotions, managed international tradeshow and marketing projects, teams. Laurie’s work has taken her all over the world to business hubs in Beijing, London, Denmark, and across North America.
Laurie is an EXHIBITOR (tradeshow and event marketing) trained tradeshow and face-to-face marketing professional. Laurie has been featured in EXHIBITOR Magazine and is a blogger at The Huffington Post.
Prior to launching L.Ashley Strategy Inc., Laurie was Marketing Director at FLSmidth Knelson, a leading global supplier of industrial mineral processing equipment.
